Andritz: International technology group Andritz has received an order from Toyo Engineering Corporation, Japan, to deliver a PowerFluid circulating fluidized bed boiler with a flue gas cleaning system. The boiler will be part of a new biomass power plant to be built in Gamagori in Aichi Prefecture, Honshu Island, some 300 km southwest of Tokyo, Japan. Commercial operations are scheduled to begin in 2023. Further, Andritz was selected by UPM, headquartered in Helsinki, Finland, to supply energy-efficient and environmentally leading equipment and processes for all main process islands in fiber production and chemical recovery for their new pulp mill to be built near Paso de los Toros in central Uruguay.

ams: ams, a leading worldwide supplier of high performance sensor solutions, reports record revenues and results for full year 2019.Group revenues for 2019 of USD 2,085.9 mn grew by 32% from USD 1,578.1 mn in 2018. Adjusted net income for 2019 was USD 331.6 mn, compared to USD 11.8 mn for 2018. Looking forward and based on current information, ams expects another year of business growth for 2020.

A1 Telekom Austria: The A1 Telekom Austria Group reported earnings for 2019. In 2019, sales climbed by 2.9 percent to Euro 4,565.2 mn, EBITDA by 0.8 percent to 1,560.6 mn (excluding restructuring by 4.7 percent to 1,644.7 mn). The operating result in 2019 was Euro 614.8 mn, an increase of 37.9 percent compared to the previous year. The reason for this was brand write-offs, which were significantly lower in 2019 at Euro 23.7 mn (2018: Euro 197.9 mn). The net result increased from Euro 243.7 mn in 2018 to Euro 327.4 mn in 2019, which was favored by the brand depreciation in the previous year.
