AT&S: Former Osram manager Ingolf Schröder (48) will take over as the new COO of Austrian technology company AT&S with effect from 1 September 2020. The previous COO, Heinz Moitzi, will concentrate on the further development of the R&D activities as CTO of the Austrian technology company in the future. At the same time, AT&S will take the next step in the implementation of its “More than AT&S” strategy and expand the Management Board by another mandate to four persons. “With the appointment of Ingolf Schröder, we will strengthen our successful Management Board team technologically, and we will continue to consistently pursue our successful growth course with him,” says Hannes Androsch, Chairman of the AT&S Supervisory Board.

ams: ams, a leading worldwide supplier of high performance sensor solutions, announced today the launch of an offering of Euro 1,000 mn equivalent aggregate principal amount of senior notes, comprising the euro denominated senior notes due 2025 and dollar denominated senior notes due 2025, in connection with the proposed acquisition of Osram Licht AG. ams intends to use the proceeds from the offering of the Notes, together with the proceeds of the rights offering which closed on 3 April 2020, to finance the proposed acquisition of Osram finance or refinance the purchase of other Osram shares, to refinance certain existing indebtedness of Osram and its subsidiaries and/or ams and its subsidiaries and to pay certain fees and expenses. Moody's assigns first time Ba3 ratings to ams AG with a negative outlook.

Due to the Covid-19 measures, the award ceremony of the 13th Vienna Stock Exchange Award could not take place as usual within the framework of a festive event but is presented individually on a small scale directly at the Vienna Stock Exchange building. The winners of the first places in the different categories were OMV, Palfinger, Oberbank and Erste Group.
