Valneva: Valneva, a specialty vaccine company focused on the development and commercialization of prophylactic vaccines for infectious diseases with significant unmet medical need, announced that it has joined the SBF 120 and CAC Mid 60 indices, following the recent quarterly review of Euronext Paris Indices Committee. The SBF 120 index is one of the flagship indices of the Paris Stock Exchange, consisting of the top 120 stocks listed on Euronext Paris in terms of both liquidity and market capitalization. The CAC Mid 60 index includes 60 companies of national and European importance. It represents the 60 largest French equities beyond the CAC 40 and the CAC Next 20. This total of 120 companies compose the SBF 120.

Andritz: International technology Group Andritz has successfully started up a complete continuous low-consistency (LC) pulping system at Papeleira Coreboard, Portugal. Manuel Delgado, Plant Manager, Papeleira Coreboard says: „I´m very proud of our operators who managed the successful start-up despite the challenging circumstances caused by the pandemic. The Andritz team provided excellent remote support from Austria.”

ams: The management board of ams, manufacturer of high-performance sensor solutions,  has decided to repurchase the Convertible Bonds up to a maximum amount of Euro 100,000,000. The share capital of the Company is currently divided into 274'289'280 ams-Bearer Shares. The resolved repurchase of the Convertible Bonds relates to sale rights in an amount of less than 10% of the share capital. The purpose of the repurchase of the Convertible Bonds is the reduction of Purpose liabilities from the Convertible Bonds through the repurchase and the cancellation of the repurchased Convertible Bonds and the improvement of the capital structure.

XB Systems: After XB Systems AG was successfully listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange (Wiener Boerse) on March 18, 2021, the company announced that it is now looking at mergers and acquisitions in other esports companies to make the company offering even more expansive. The company plans to fund this merger and acquisition spree through a combination of cash and allocated stock. In terms of its core products, XB Systems AG is constantly upgrading its offering of betting data through its technology provider UltraPlay. Moreover, the company gained a great traction of new players joining BUFF.bet on a daily basis due to the latest sensation in the esports space - Valorant. "We are considering a few new innovative companies in the space in order to expand to new markets and boost our esports offering further. We are convinced that esports will retain a firm place in the betting business and beyond", commented Daniel Miller, CEO of XB Systems AG.

OMV: With the commissioning of OMV´s new ISO C4 plant at the Burghausen site, the collaboration between the world’s largest chemical company, BASF, and OMV, the international, integrated oil, gas and chemical company headquartered in Vienna, has reached a new milestone. The plant is based on a novel technology developed jointly by the two companies and has been producing high-purity isobutene since the end of 2020. The plant’s energy efficiency saves 20,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions per year. Up to 80% of the heating energy required for the new process can be met by thermal discharge from an existing associated facility thanks to a heat integration approach. The isobutene produced here complements OMV’s existing product portfolio and will be used for manufacturing glues, grease and other chemicals such as antioxidants, as well as in the production of vitamin C. The plant’s production capacity is 60,000 t/a. Investment volume of this largescale project including auxiliary facilities was Euro 64 mn.
