21st Austria weekly - Erste Group, Andritz, FACC, CA Immo (21/10/2021)

Erste Group: CaixaBank is considering selling its  9.92% stake in Erste Group Bank. Part of this stake (4.5%) is hedged through equity swaps that can be settled in cash or by delivering the underlying shares to the swap counterparties. Caixa is considering a potential divestment of all or part of its 5.42% unhedged stake in EBS. The manner and timing of this potential divestment would depend on a number of factors. CABK is holding discussions with the Erste Foundation in relation to a potential allocation of this 5.42% unhedged stake in EBS to certain pre- identified potential buyers. Spanish CaiXA is also considering to settle the equity swaps underlying 4.5% of its stake by delivering the underlying shares to the equity swaps counterparties.
Erste Group: weekly performance: -3.08%

Andritz: International technology group Andritz has received a contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District, for the rehabilitation and upgrade of all four turbines and generators at the Robert S. Kerr hydroelectric power plant, located on the Arkansas River in Eastern Oklahoma adjacent to the town of Cowlington. The order value is close to 75 million euros. Commissioning of the first unit is expected in August 2025.

FACC: Austrian based aerospace supplier FACC received a further contract. The Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer announces a major new order at the NBAA in Las Vegas: NetJets, one of the largest providers of business jet travel, will be expanding its fleet by 100 Embraer Phenom 300E aircraft. FACC also stands to benefit from this mega deal. The company has been represented with its components on the Phenom 300E models for many years, and will be equipping the 100 additional jets with its products and tailor-made solutions as Embraer's interior partner over the next six years.

CA Immo: Austrian real estate company CA Immo has signed a lease extension agreement in the Warsaw office building Postępu 14. AstraZeneca Pharma Poland has decided to stay in the building for another 5 years and lease an additional 3,000 sqm of modern workspace. Consequently, the seat of AstraZeneca Pharma Poland in Warsaw will amount to ca. 21,000 sqm, which represents more than 60% of the building’s entire area.
