voestalpine: For the steel company voestalpine Group the business year 2019/20 was defined by a massive dampening of sentiment in the economic environment owing to the worldwide trade conflicts. The revenue of the voestalpine Group fell in the business year 2019/20 by 6.2% to Euro 12.7 bin. The decline on the earnings side was more dramatic on account of internal non-recurring effects. As previously communicated, impairment losses were recognized in the third quarter of the business year 2019/20 as a result of impairment tests conducted at the time. In addition, provisions for risks with negative consequences (including restructuring costs) were recognized also. Another impairment test had to be carried out in April 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic; it resulted in yet more impairment losses. EBITDA fell year over year by 24.5% to Euro 1.2 bn. The impairment losses led to negative EBIT of Euro –89 mn for the business year (2018/19: Euro 779 mn). The resulting profit after tax came at Euro –216 mn (2018/19: Euro 459 mn). The uncertainties confronting the entire voestalpine Group in the next few months are very high, which is why an assessment of future earnings can only be a rough estimate. “Given the continued volatility of the economic environment, we expect the voestalpine Group to generate EBITDA of between Euro 600 mn and Euro one billion in the business year 2020/21,” says CEO Herbert Eibensteiner.

Wolftank Adisa: Stock listed Wolftank-Adisa Holding AG announced the majority acquisition of Rovereta Srl, a 100% subsidiary of Petroltecnica Spa. Rovereta Srl, headquartered in Cerasolo Ausa di Coriano, (Province of Rimini, Italy), is a company specialized in recycling, water and soil treatment, as well as hazardous waste disposal. The company -despite the COVID-19 infuenced environment- is expected to generate sales of around Euro 10 mn with a positive earnings contribution for this year, thanks to the very economical recycling of the treated re-usable materials. Backed by an independent fairness opinion and valuation report, the purchase price is Euro 3 million. As a cornerstone for an additional expansion of the business in the future, Wolftank-Adisa Holding AG will also acquire a minority interest of initially 10% in the previous sole shareholder of Rovereta Srl, Petroltecnica SpA, giving access to the whole product range necessary for the planning and construction of recycling-plants.

Fabasoft: Fabasoft, one of the leading software product companies and providers of cloud services in Europe, recorded sales revenue of Euro 51.1 mn (Euro 40.3 mn in the corresponding period of the previous year). This significant rise in sales revenue (26.8% compared to the 2018/2019 fiscal year) reflects the outstanding development of revenue from recurring usage fees for Mindbreeze InSpire and the Fabasoft Cloud offers, a positive development in project business and the associated licence revenue for one-off licences in the course of the roll-out of large-scale projects as well as the expansion of the corporate group to include the Xpublisher companies. With EBITDA at Euro 16.7 mn (Euro 11.498 mn in the corresponding period of the previous year) EBIT was 11.709 mn  (8.918 mn in the corresponding period of the previous year). The extremely strong growth of the operative result (rise in EBIT of 31.3% compared to the 2018/2019 fiscal year) derives in particular from the increase in high-margin software-related revenue primarily from Mindbreeze InSpire and from cloud services as well as of one-off licences.
Fabasoft: weekly performance: 11.02%
