FACC: The Supervisory Board of FACC AG, aerospace leader when it comes to designing, developing and manufacturing advanced aircraft components and systems, has reappointed Andreas Ockel as COO (Chief Operating Officer) for a period of five years. "Andreas Ockel has, since his appointment in 2017, continuously contributed to the development of the Group in accordance with his areas of responsibility. I am pleased, that Andreas Ockel will be available for a further five years and will take on the operational challenges of the coming years," said Pang Zhen, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of FACC AG, commenting on the reappointment.

Frequentis: Tele Post, Greenland’s postal and telecommunications provider, selected Frequentis in summer 2019 to provide an integrated maritime control room solution for the Technical and Operator Centre in Aasiaat, Greenland, to increase safety at sea. The Frequentis system in Aasiaat enhances transmitting voice messages, weather forecasts, and navigation warnings on any selected high frequency and very high frequency transmitters in any combination, from any operator workstation. “The Frequentis MarTRX solution can be customised to meet differing needs of the maritime industry, including coastal surveillance and vessel traffic services. We are pleased to have successfully completed site acceptance for the GMDSS solution remotely, proving our determination and commitment to supporting our customers with their goals,” said Khashayar Saravandi-Rad, Frequentis Vice President Maritime.
