Novomatic: Novomatic, full-service provider in the gaming industry, decided to invite the holders of its EUR 500,000,000 1.625% notes 2016-2023 to tender their Notes for repurchase by the Company for cash (the Tender Offer). The Tender Offer is designed to reduce financial liabilities and to optimize the utilization of available funds. The Tender Offer will be in an aggregate maximum principal amount of EUR 150,000,000 or such other amount as the Company may determine and announce in its sole discretion, at a note purchase price of 100 % for the Notes plus accrued interest, subject to the preferential acceptance of valid tenders of Notes with a principal amount of up to EUR 10,000, as further described in the tender offer memorandum.

Frequentis: Frequentis, global supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks, announced that it acquired 51 % of italian company Regola. “Frequentis has been looking to expand its public safety domain offering for quite some time, with Regola we have found clear attributes for a perfect fit. A fellow family-owned company, Regola shares our values and culture, and its products are of the most innovative on the market. This acquisition underlines our Mission “For a safer World” and brings us one step closer in meeting our vision to become the number one for safety-critical control centres globally. We are looking forward to reaching this goal with Regola,” says Norbert Haslacher, Frequentis CEO.

FACC: Martin Mistlberger has taken over the position of Managing Director at CoLT Prüf und Test GmbH as of February 2022. The subsidiary of FACC AG is a specialist in the testing and certification of lightweight components and state-of-the-art materials. Aviation is subject to the highest safety standards: as a state-of-the-art testing center for FACC, CoLT plays a key role in this regard. With cutting-edge equipment and more than 25 years of experience, the company is not only an essential provider of quality assurance, but also an important partner in the development of new materials and products. In February 2022, the competence center gained a valuable addition with the appointment of Martin Mistlberger as new Managing Director.

Valneva: Austrian/French vaccine company Valneva has been awarded research and development funding of up to £20 million by Scottish Enterprise. The grants are expected to be received over the next three years, commencing March 2022. The first grant of up to £12,500,000 will support research and development related to the manufacture of VLA2001, Valneva’s inactivated, whole virus COVID-19 vaccine candidate. The second grant of up to £7,500,000 will support research and development connected to Valneva’s manufacturing processes for other vaccines.

OMV: OMV, the international, integrated oil, gas and chemicals company headquartered in Vienna, has started up its ground-mounted photovoltaic plant with solar tracking in Lobau (Austria/Vienna). OMV has invested around Euro 4.5 mn in the facility.
