Vienna Airport: The Flughafen Wien Group showed slight growth in passenger traffic in March 2025 due to later Easter holiday traffic this year. Total passenger volume in the entire Group (Vienna Airport, Malta Airport and Kosice Airport) rose by 4.1% to 2,993,138 travellers, whereas Vienna Airport reported a 0.9% increase to 2,227,037 passengers. In contrast to March of the previous year, however, the busy Easter holidays occur in April this year. The number of local passengers at Vienna Airport climbed slightly 0.1% compared to March 2024 to 1,772,157 travellers, whereas transfer passenger traffic rose to 449,134 travellers (+4.3%). The number of flight movements in March 2025 increased 7.7% year-on-year to 17,839 take-offs and landings. Cargo volume totalled 28,507 tonnes, comprising a rise of 9.5% from the prior-year month of March 2024.
