Kapsch TrafficCom: Kapsch TrafficCom was awarded a new contract for the renewal of the Zarautz Este toll collection area in Gipuzkoa, Basque Country. The project, valued at EUR 3.3 million will be delivered over a period of 13 months and 2 weeks and will ensure comfortable toll payments for drivers on the AP-8 motorway, where the new toll collection area is located. The AP-8 motorway crosses the Basque Country from east to west and connects the French border with Donostia and Bilbao, major metropolitan areas. The scope of the project includes a 50% share of civil works, executed by partner Construcciones Amenabar, and Kapsch TrafficCom, which will modernize the infrastructure and enhance operational efficiency.
