Andritz: Austrian based Andritz and chilenian Arauco signed a letter of award for supply of major technologies and equipment for the modernization and extension of the Arauco pulp mill in Chile. The order value for Andritz is in the range of around 300 million Euros. For the new 1.5 million tons/yr bleached eucalyptus kraft (BEK) pulp line, Andritz will supply the woodyard, fiberline, white liquor plant and evaporation system.

Kapsch TrafficCom: Kapsch TrafficCom, provider of intelligent transportation systems in the fields of tolling, traffic management, smart urban mobility, traffic safety and security, has been awarded three major contract wins in Latin America to provide advanced traffic management systems to Buenos Aires (Argentina), Lima (Peru) and the Panama City (Panama). The new contracts sum up to an accumulated value of approx. EUR 15 million. The Austrian headquartered mobility expert thus strengthens both its local footprint in the Latin American region as well as its expertise in managing dense traffic environments in major cities around the globe. All contracts are covered by Kapsch’s EcoTrafiXTM urban traffic management software. However, requirements differ in terms of size, scope of work and aim thus proving the adaptability and scalability of Kapsch’s urban traffic management software as well as expertise. "Our steadily growing presence in Latin America is a strong proof of the viability of our growth strategy", explains André F. Laux, COO Kapsch TrafficCom. "The increasing demand shows that the topic of Smart Urban Mobility is becoming more and more important worldwide and that we are well ahead with our offer through both solution competence and implementation strength."
Kapsch TrafficCom: weekly performance: -6.01%

voestalpine: Technology and capital goods group voestalpine expands its business in Asia. The Austrian based company generated revenue of over one billion euros in the expanding Asian market during the past business year. Revenue in China alone is forecast to rise from its current level of over Euro 550 mn to 800 mn by 2020. Now the Group is setting two further milestones on its path to achieving this growth: in the railway infrastructure sector an important step in expanding in the booming Chinese urban traffic sector has been taken with the founding of a further joint venture for the production of turnouts. In addition, recently automotive activities have been significantly extended with the startup of the second component plant in China.
voestalpine: weekly performance: -0.94%
