Porr: Construction group Porr secured a new building construction contract in the second district of Vienna. The project Nordbahnhof construction site 8b borders Bruno-Marek-Allee and was put out to tender by project companies of UBM Development and KIBB Immobilien. In a period of 25 months, here PORR will realise attractive homes as well as retail and office space. “Where the Nordbahnhof station used to stand is now a key development area. We are striving to make a living space that’s as diverse as possible and this requires high standards of comfort combined with sustainable solutions. At the same time, we are creating a space worth living in right in the heart of Vienna”, said Karl-Heinz Strauss, PORR CEO.

S Immo/CA Immo: CA Immo has signed and closed the sale of the Zagrebtower office building to Austrian property company S Immo AG at a 5% premium to H1 2020 book value. Zagreb Tower is a class A building in an up-and-coming business district in the heart of the Croatian capital. The 79-metre structure, which commands superb views of the city, is one of the most impressive landmark buildings in Zagreb. The office tower with a total of 25,900 m² of rentable area on 22 floors and a 9-floor side wing.  Keegan Viscius, Chief Investment Officer of CA Immo: "In parallel with our portfolio growth in CA Immo's core markets, we are also continuing to pursue our non-core sales strategy. With the sale of the Zagrebtower, we are withdrawing from a small CEE market at a sound sales price”. The property generated € 3.6 m of annual gross rental income and was fully let (99%) as at 30 June 2020. “The acquisition of Zagrebtower is the logical continuation of our commitment in the capital of Croatia. The market is developing very well, and demand for state-of-the-art offices has risen briskly in recent years. Together with the office properties that are already part of the S IMMO holdings, this complex will enhance our CEE portfolio and make a key contribution to earnings,” noted Friedrich Wachernig, member of the S Immo AG’s Management Board.
