Frequentis: ATC Solutions business unit of Harris Canada Systems becomes Frequentis Canada ATM Ltd. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Frequentis AG, the former ATC Solutions business unit of Harris Canada Systems Inc., which is headquartered in Gatineau, Canada, will operate independently as Frequentis Canada ATM Ltd. It has around 60 employees, who work in development and business development. “Our joint competencies make us stronger, especially in the key US, Canadian, and UK markets", says Frequentis’ CEO Norbert Haslacher. The acquisition of Harris Orthogon, now Frequentis Orthogon GmbH, in Germany was completed on 30 April. Acquisition of the remaining entity, Harris C4i Pty. Ltd. in Melbourne, Australia, is subject to regulatory approval and closing is expected in the second half of 2021. Frequentis: weekly performance: -0.80%

Agrana: The already announced succession of CEO Johann Marihart by Markus Mühleisen on 1 June 2021 will also be accompanied by further changes on the Management Board of fruit-, starch- and sugar company Agrana as well as in the general management teams of certain subsidiaries. After 16 years, Thomas Kölbl will be vacating his post on the Management Board of Agrana to focus fully on his CFO role at Südzucker AG. He will be succeeded on the Agrana Management Board by Ingrid-Helen Arnold who has been a board member of Südzucker AG since 1 May 2021. She will be responsible for the area of internal auditing at Agrana. In the course of the restructuring and rejuvenation of the Agrana Management Board, Fritz Gattermayer has also decided after 12 years to step down from the Agrana Management Board with effect from 31 May 2021. From 1 June 2021, the Management Board will therefore be made up of four members: CEO Markus Mühleisen, CFO Stephan Büttner, CTO Norbert Harringer and Ingrid-Helen Arnold.
Agrana: weekly performance: 2.47%

Immofinanz: Rental income of real estate company Immofinanz rose by 0.5% to Euro 74.8 mn in the first quarter. Positive results from property sales and property development as well as cost savings supported an improvement of 6.7% in the results of operations to Euro 46.4 mn. Net profit of 123.1 mn is significantly higher than the first quarter of the previous year  (Q1 2020: Euro -37.6 mn).  CEO Ronny Pecik: “The progress of the EU-wide vaccination campaigns makes us optimistic concerning developments during the rest of this year, and we are continuing to work on value-creating expansion with our crisis-resistant real estate brands – as we recently showed with the acquisition of an office property at a top location in Bucharest and further acquisitions for our STOP SHOP retail park format.“ FFO 1 from the standing investment business (before tax and including accrued interest for bonds) amounted to Euro 34.5 mn (Q1 2020: Euro 40.0 mn). This decline is attributable, above all, to the year-on-year, crisis-related increase in receivables write-offs from asset management, which represent an important contribution to supporting our tenants during the pandemic.
Immofinanz: weekly performance: 4.46%

Zumtobel: Lightning group Zumtobel Group announced, that its net profit is substantially higher than the previous financial year at Euro 45.6 mn (2019/20: Euro 14.5 mn) and, therefore, also exceeds the target corridor of Euro 24 mn to Euro 34 mn which was previously communicated by the Management Board. The improvement over the target corridor is based on a slight increase in revenues and, above all, on higher positive effects from income taxes. Revenues declined 7.7% year-on-year to Euro 1,044.5 min.
Zumtobel: weekly performance: 5.74%

Verbund: The Executive Board of Austrian utility company Verbund  announced that the acquisition of OMV's 51% stake in Gas Connect Austria GmbH was completed. The agreed purchase price for OMV's 51% stake in Gas Connect Austria GmbH is Euro 271 mn, less the distributed dividend for business year 2020 amounting to approx. Euro 33 mn (for the 51% stake of OMV). Verbund will also assume any outstanding liabilities of Gas Connect Austria group to OMVin the amount of approx. Euro 212 mn. The completion of this acquisition has led Verbund to adjust its earnings forecast for financial year 2021. Based on expectations of average own generation from hydropower and wind power for the remainder of the year and the opportunities and risks identified (as of the end of March), Verbund expects EBITDAof between approximately Euro 1,180 mn and Euro 1,350 mn and a Group result of between approximately Euro 490 mn and Euro 600 mn in financial year 2021.
