21st Austria weekly - Palfinger, Vienna Airport (13/06/2022)

19.06.2022

Palfinger: The Supervisory Board of lifting solutions provider Palfinger passed a unanimous resolution at its meeting today to reappoint Andreas Klauser as CEO ahead of schedule. Andreas Klauser's current term of office runs until May 31, 2023, after which it will be extended for a further five years.
Palfinger: weekly performance: -2.03%

Vienna Airport: Flughafen Wien (Vienna Airport) updated its guidance for 2022. Based on the improved traffic development, the Flughafen Wien Group now expects for 2022 revenue of around Euro 640 mn (previously Euro 560 mn), a positive EBITDA of at least around Euro 260 mn (previously Euro 172 mn) and a positive net result of at least Euro 80 mn (previously Euro 20 mn). The update values are based on the assumption that no pandemic related lockdowns or major traffic restrictions will occur in autumn and winter. Capital expenditure will amount to around Euro 84 mn. The today incalculable further development of the war in Ukraine and its consequences for aviation remain an additional factor of uncertainty. Around 22 million passengers are expected at Vienna Airport throughout 2022 and around 28 million for the Flughafen Wien Group (incl. investments). Further it was announced, that Airports Group Europe S.à r.l, an indirect subsidiary of IFM Global Infrastructure Fund, has acquired additional shares in Vienna Airport (Flughafen Wien Aktiengesellschaft) through on-market share purchases. Airports Group Europe now holds above 40.0% of the entire share capital in Flughafen Wien and as a result is obliged to launch a mandatory takeover offer in relation to all remaining shares in Flughafen Wien Aktiengesellschaft pursuant to the Austrian Takeover Act. The offer price is 33.00 Euro per share.
Flughafen Wien: weekly performance: 24.14%
