AMAG: The shareholders of the Canadian aluminium smelter "Aluminerie Alouette Inc.", in which Austrian based AMAG Austria Metall AG (AMAG) holds a 20% stake, the government of the Canadian province of Québec and the state-owned electricity provider Hydro-Québec have agreed on key framework conditions for a new long-term electricity contract. The new electricity contract is intended to enable the purchase of 1,035 MW from 01 January 2030 to 31 December 2045. In addition, 50 MW, divided into two tranches of 25 MW each, will be made available for further organic growth. The electricity price depends on the aluminium price and the Midwest premiums (risk-sharing contract), as regulated in the current electricity contract. The conditions set out in the Memorandum of Understanding thus guarantee Alouette's long-term energy supply at competitive prices.

Austrian Post: Austrian Post's lay-up robot “Robin” has processed more than one million parcels in less than one year. “Robin” is only the first step in a series of developments to expand the Parcel Logistics Center Vienna into an automation and innovation hub. Peter Umundum, Deputy Director General, Board Member for Parcel & Logistics: “Our lay-up robot ‘Robin’ has processed over a million parcels in less than a year. This is strong proof of how far we have already transferred our automation strategy into practice. We also use AutoUnloader to unload trucks and automatic roll container tippers on a large scale. We are currently testing another robotic arm for heavy parcels in Vienna, and the first autonomous industrial trucks will soon be launched!”

Polytec: Peter Bernscher has informed the Nomination Committee of the Supervisory Board today of his intention to leave the company due to an attractive external offer. As a result, Peter Bernscher and the Supervisory Board of POLYTEC Holding AG have mutually agreed that he will step down from his position as Chief Commercial Officer of the company effective today. Peter Bernscher's responsibilities will be distributed among the remaining members of the Management Board. A replacement is not currently planned.
