Strabag: Australian infrastructure specialist Georgiou, part of construction group Strabag, has secured a major contract in Perth WA to deliver the Reid Highway upgrades for client, Department of Main Roads Western Australia. The design and build contract, valued at approximately 125 million euros, includes the modernisation of the Altone Road and Drumpellier Drive/Daviot Road intersections on Reid Highway. The project aims to reduce congestion and improve safety and traffic flow in Perth’s northeastern corridor. Preparatory works have commenced, with completion scheduled for 2028.
