21st Austria weekly - Andritz, Marinomed (17/07/2026)

19.07.2026

Andritz: Hyogo Pulp Industries has awarded international technology group ANDRITZ an order to supply a second DD-Washer drum displacer washer and a blowline refiner to its Tanigawa mill in Japan. The order will support the mill’s plans to expand production capacity while advancing its sustainability goals. Start-up is scheduled for May 2028. The value of the order will not be disclosed. Since 2025, Hyogo Pulp Industries has been operating ANDRITZ evaporation and methanol liquefaction plants, enabling Japan’s first biomethanol production from a pulp mill.
Andritz: weekly performance: 1.79%

Marinomed: Marinomed Biotech AG announced the plan to apply for the initiation of a court restructuring proceeding without self-administration. The application is being filed because the court-approved restructuring plan dated November 14, 2024, cannot be fulfilled due to the breakdown of negotiations by Unither and the failure of Unither Pharmaceuticals to make earn-out payments from the sale of the Carragelose business unit, thereby placing the company at risk of insolvency. The aim of the renewed restructuring proceedings without self-administration is to secure the company's financial stability by concluding a new restructuring plan. In addition to further restructuring measures, the legal options available against Unither arising from the sale of the Carragelose business and the assets of the Marinosolv platform are to be utilized.
Marinomed Biotech: weekly performance: -58.47%
