Verbund: Utility company VERBUND has resolved to propose to the 2026 Annual General Meeting a special dividend of €1.15 per share for financial year 2025 in addition to the regular dividend. The special dividend equates to an amount of approximately €400 million and supports shareholder-orientated capital allocation. Distribution of the dividends is contingent on the approval of the 2025 annual financial statements and on the resolution being passed at the 2026 Annual General Meeting.

Agrana: Internationally-oriented Austrian industrial company Agrana has reached an agreement with the sugar beet grower’s association (Rübenbauernverbund) on the growing terms and conditions for the coming three years. This agreement comes against the backdrop of a challenging market environment characterised by consistently low sugar sales prices. As a result of constructive negotiations with the sugar beet growers’ lobbying association, it has been possible to develop a new pricing model which takes the prevailing circumstances into account.
