In its place: SAP. Unglamorous, mission-critical, impossible to rip out without a year of pain. Every company swears it will replace its thirty-year-old systems. Every company keeps them. SAP now charges extra for the AI bolted on top. That is not disruption. That is a toll booth with a software licence. One name out, one name in, the rest left in cash. Slow on purpose.
